Today was supposed to mark the last day before the ban on the sale of large sugary drinks in New York took effect. It would have forbid the selling of 16 ounces or more in restaurants, movie theaters and food-service establishments. NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg stirred controversy recently when he announced intentions to place a city-wide ban on large sugared drinks. We decided to come up with some other—and hopefully more helpful—ways we can control how people consume their beverages.
