Hey, I'm funnier than everyone in the world. How do I write for the site?
Step #1: Make a CollegeHumor profile.
Step #2: Click the 'Write an Article' link in the 'My Stuff' dropdown menu.
Step #3: Write something funny and hit publish. If your article gets a lot of 'likes' our editors will be alerted and give it a look. If it's really funny they'll move it to the front page. Money, fame and women will follow.
Can I get paid to write articles?
Yup. Anyone who posts an article is eligible to get paid cash money for their work. We pay writers on a multi-tierd pageview scale. What does that mean? If your article generates:
- 50,000 pageviews, you get $30
- 75,000 pageviews, you get $50
- 100,000 pageviews, you get $100
- 150,000 pageviews, you get $150
- 200,000 pageviews, you get $200
- 250,000+ pageviews, you get $250
We don't publish our pageview numbers so you'll have to trust us. If one of your articles qualifies for payment you'll be contacted and asked to fill out a W9 for tax purposes. As soon as you send that back to us we'll cut your check. Simple as that.
